【组成】山楂（18g）神曲（6g）半夏（9g）茯苓（9g）陈皮（6g）连翘（6g）萝卜子（6g）

【功用】消食和胃。

【主治】食积。脘腹痞满胀痛，嗳腐吞酸，恶食呕吐，或大便泄泻，舌苔厚腻，脉滑等。

【歌诀】保和神曲与山植,苓夏陈翘菔子加,炊饼为丸白汤下,消食和胃效堪夸。

[INGREDIENTS]:

Hawthorn fruit 180g, Medicated leaven 60g, Pinellia tuber 90g, Poria 90g, Tangerine peel 30 , Forsythia fruit 30g, Radish seed 30g

[DIRECTIONS]:Crind the above herbs into powder. Then mix it with water to make into form of pills as large as Chinese parasol seed. 6 to 9 gram of this pills each time.

[EFFECT]:Promoting digestion and harmonizing the stomach.

I[NDICATIONS]: All the food retention syndromes manifested by stuffiness, fullness and distending pain of'epigastrium and abdomen, belching with acid regurgitation, anorexia, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, thick and greasy coating, slippery pulse.

[ANALYSIS OF FORMULA]: This is a light formula for promoting digestion and resolving accumulation. As the main herb, hawthorn fruit can resolve all kinds of food retention, especially the accumulation of meat and greasiness. Being the assistant herbs, medicated leaven is to strengthen the spleen for promoting digestion and resolving accumulation of old decayed food; radish seed is to lower qi and promote digestion, being good for resolving accumulation of wheaten food and phlegm. Pinellia tuber, tangerine peel and poria are to dry dampness for strengthening the spleen, activate qi for harmonizing the stomach as well as resolving phlegm for relieving vomiting. They act as the adjuvant herbs.
