[ Clinical Applications ]: 1. Blood-stasis causing pain It has the similar efficacy as Ruxiang. When terating dysmenorrheal, epigastric pain, physical trauma, carbuncles and pains, Ruxiang and Moyao are usually combined together to reinforce the efficacy of activating the blood and alleviating pain. The difference between them is that Ruxiang is better to move qi and extend tendons, while Moyao is able to dissipate the blood and remove stasis.
